My website has a Now page – again. The first Now page on my site was published in 2018. For some reason I stopped maintaining it, but now I'm excited to bring it back!
The Now page is the brainchild of Derek Sivers. Thanks to Derek, many personal websites today have a link that says “now” that tells you what this person is focused on at this point in their life. It’s called a “Now page.” Read more about it here.
Each year has a dedicated Now page. The current year's Now page is accessed via /now. Past years are accessed via /now-yyyy (e.g. /now-2024, which doesn't really exist since Now pages before 2025 were not archived).
I have been enrolled in a postgraduate program in Clinical Trials Management, and school officially started today. It's a new chapter in my life, and I'm looking forward to the challenges and learning opportunities ahead.
Blog Integrated. Now my blog is fully integrated into this site. This means you can access all my blog posts directly from here seamlessly. It’s worth the effort for a smoother experience.
Website Revamped. It’s as plain as the nose on your face. It was a bit of work, but I’m happy to have moved everything back to my main domain but my blog.
Earned Another Degree. Finally got my first degree in the sciences. Today I earned an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with distinction from Western University. It might not feel like a huge employability boost these days, especially with AI and layoffs shaking up the industry. But still, it’s a great feeling to see years of hard work finally pay off.
